چکیده
Abstract Submerged floating tunnel is a new type of traffic building structure under water surface which can span various courses. The has the characteristics high flexibility and low damping so that vibration problems would be caused by hydrodynamic excitation. Long-term could affect safety durability structure. Therefore, it necessary to accurately understand dynamic behavior This paper proposes simplified three-dimensional model study for Based on Galerkin method mode superposition with boundary conditions, differential equations were established in Generalized coordinate system. $$Newmark - \beta$$ N e w m a r k - β used solve equations. متن کاملTransient Response Analysis of a Submerged Floating Tunnel under Seismic and Wave Excitations
In this study, a numerical procedure is described for the transient response analysis of a submerged floating tunnel with reference of a designed tunnel in Japan. Tension legs seizing the tunnel are simply modeled by a spring elements and the tunnel itself is assumed by two rigid bodies between which a flexible joint is used. A recorded seismic excitation is used while the wave load is calculat...

Turbulent Flow in wetlands with submerged and floating aquatic plants was studied by applying Boit’s poroelastic theory to turbulent flow. The velocity distribution formulas were described by solving the modified Bessel equations. The effects of plant porosity and turbulent coefficient on the velocity distribution, shear stress distribution and energy relations were analytically derived. Severa...

Based on a non classical plate theory, an analytical model is proposed for the first time to analyze free vibration problem of partially cracked thin isotropic submerged plate in the presence of thermal environment. The governing equation for the cracked plate is derived using the Kirchhoff’s thin plate theory and the modified couple stress theory. The crack terms are formulated using simplifie...
متن کاملDrill string Vibration Modeling Including Coupling Effects
Abstract: The governing equations of motion for a drill string considering coupling between axial, lateral and torsional vibrations are obtained using a Lagrangian approach. The result leads to a set of non-linear equations with time varying coefficients. A fully coupled model for axial, lateral, and torsional vibrations of drill strings is presented. The bit/formation interactions are assumed ...
